Bachelor’s degree in Science, Master’s degree in Zoology and PhD in Zoology, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Teaching:

He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Dar es Salaam. Undergraduate courses he is currently teaching include chordate zoology, macroevolution, herpetology and management of wildlife in captivity and supervision of undergraduate research projects. At postgraduate level he teaches Vertebrate Diversity and Conservation as well as supervision of postgraduate students. Other courses he has taught in the past include animal behaviour, biostatistics and conservation biology.
